Eunate Lopetegi Uson XII Walk against Cancer In Valladolid, in order to raise funds and demand more investment for cancer research, on October 29, the Asociación Española contra el Cáncer (AECC) held the 12th edition of its popular Walk against Cancer. The event brought together so many runners and walkers that a new participation record was set: more than 46,000 people. Workshop on Social Skills and Cognitive Stimulation We also organized a Workshop on Social Skills and Cognitive Stimulation with Fundación Aldaba, whose purpose is to care for and improve the quality of life of people and groups at risk of social exclusion and/or particular vulnerability, who are affected by addictions to drugs and other things. One of our corporate volunteers, a graduate in psychology, has been taking part in specific workshops for four years, working on self-esteem, active listening, reasoning, comprehension and problem solving, as well as cognitive skills such as attention, memory and creativity.
