The year 2023 saw a trend reversal in our Volunteer Program in all the countries where we are active. We regained our pre-pandemic activity levels thanks to the profound involvement and commitment of our volunteers to help the most disadvantaged people. Our volunteers have been where they were needed most. In the terrible earthquake in Turkey, in the wake of devastating hurricane Otis, in schools and hospitals, nursing homes and social organizations. Not only have they helped with their time and effort, but they have also channeled resources and aid to those most in need. They have been continuously involved in supporting the individuals and groups to whom they have offered their personal skills and abilities. We greatly value the support of everyone who volunteers and does everything possible to make this a better society, and we feel fortunate and grateful to be able to rely on all of them. Solidarity, without a doubt, is a key driving force in the world in which we are all living and, in this sense, our volunteers set an example for everyone. It is a force that embodies the principles and values that underpin our daily activity and that are materialized and expressed through the activities of our Foundation. Human qualities, which distinguish us and make us proud, must be exercised each day in concrete actions in the various facets of our lives. Both personal and professional. This should not just be theoretical; it is vital to put these values into practice to help our fellow men and women in need. Volunteering is a magnificent way to channel this action.
