Los habitantes de La Palma necesitan equipos de protecci\u00f3n\/strong> para evitar la inhalaci\u00f3n y la exposici\u00f3n d\u00e9rmica y ocular a las cenizas y gases t\u00f3xicos procedentes de las emisiones volc\u00e1nicas.\/p>\n
Para cubrir esta necesidad, Fundaci\u00f3n MAPFRE Guanarteme ha activado un primer paquete de medidas de emergencia, dotado con 65.000 euros\/strong>, en el que se incluyen un total de 26.000 mascarillas FFP1 y FFP2, as\u00ed como 2.000 gafas protectoras y 30.000 envases monodosis de l\u00e1grimas artificiales\/strong> para su distribuci\u00f3n entre la poblaci\u00f3n y cuerpos de seguridad y emergencias.\/p>\n
Adem\u00e1s, se han hecho llegar estanter\u00edas a los principales recintos de ayuda humanitaria\/strong> habilitados en los municipios m\u00e1s afectados de la isla que, ante la enorme respuesta de la red ciudadana solidaria recibida, se hab\u00edan quedado sin espacio para organizar las donaciones de ropa, productos higi\u00e9nicos, alimentos, enseres y menaje recibidos.\/p>\n
Queremos atender las necesidades de la poblaci\u00f3n afectada por la erupci\u00f3n volc\u00e1nica\/strong>. Queremos contribuir a su recuperaci\u00f3n personal, social y econ\u00f3mica. \/p>\n
