Impulsamos la carrera de aquellos fot\u00f3grafos, nacionales e internacionales\/strong>, que tengan prevista la realizaci\u00f3n de un proyecto fotogr\u00e1fico\/strong>, bien sea nuevo o la finalizaci\u00f3n de uno ya iniciado, que quieran impulsar.\/p>\n
Con la 1\u00aa edici\u00f3n del KBr Photo Award\/strong>, que nace con vocaci\u00f3n internacional y periodicidad bienal, reafirmamos nuestro apoyo a la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica ofreciendo al ganador o ganadora de este certamen visibilidad en la escena nacional e internacional.\/p>\n
El premio est\u00e1 dotado con 25.000 euros\/strong> y, adem\u00e1s, incluye la producci\u00f3n y organizaci\u00f3n de una exposici\u00f3n en el Espai 2 del KBr Barcelona Photo Center\/strong>, que mostrar\u00e1 el resultado del proyecto galardonado. Junto con la exposici\u00f3n, editaremos un cat\u00e1logo.\/p>\n
El jurado encargado de seleccionar al ganador, formado por Carles Guerra Artista, cr\u00edtico de arte y curador independiente; Thomas Weski, comisario del Archivo Michael Schmidt; Sarah Meister, directora ejecutiva de Aperture; Urs Stahel, escritor, comisario y asesor independiente y Carlos Gollonet, conservador jefe de fotograf\u00eda de Fundaci\u00f3n MAPFRE, fallar\u00e1n el premio en el mes de noviembre de 2021. El ganador tendr\u00e1 hasta junio de 2022 para llevar su proyecto adelante\/strong> y en febrero del a\u00f1o 2023 se inaugurar\u00e1 la exposici\u00f3n.\/p>\n
