Todo tiempo est\u00e1 obligado a interpretar el pasado, y la conciencia y visi\u00f3n que de \u00e9l transmite representa, a su vez, un valioso legado para las generaciones futuras, pues en ellas se superponen las p\u00e1ginas de ese pasado y la propia naturaleza de quien se empe\u00f1a en desentra\u00f1ar el mismo. De esa doble mirada parti\u00f3 este ciclo:\u00a0\/span>una aproximaci\u00f3n a la historia de la arquitectura en Espa\u00f1a a trav\u00e9s de algunos de sus monumentos m\u00e1s singulares y de fuerte personalidad\/strong>\u00a0\/span>que busca, al mismo tiempo, manifestar la pluralidad de lecturas que nuestro pasado arquitect\u00f3nico suscita en la actualidad.\/p>\n
Dirigido por el historiador Javier Rodr\u00edguez Barber\u00e1n (Universidad de Sevilla), el ciclo congreg\u00f3 (febrero 2012) a arquitectos e historiadores de la arquitectura en un di\u00e1logo que recorre desde la Edad Media hasta mediados del siglo XX. Ello permiti\u00f3 agrupar m\u00e9todos y enfoques diversos para explorar una parte esencial de nuestro patrimonio como un pasado vivo que tenemos la obligaci\u00f3n de\u00a0\/span>conservar, difundir e incrementar\/strong>.\/p>\n
