Observa estas obras de Giacometti. Como ves, la superficie no es lisa, todo lo contrario, est\u00e1 llena de marcas, de protuberancias. Se aprecian las huellas de sus dedos y de sus u\u00f1as. El artista, a trav\u00e9s del modelado, consigui\u00f3 crear\u00a0\/span>esculturas vivas y llenas de sentimientos\/strong>. Son obras que \u201cnos hablan\u201d a trav\u00e9s de la materia.\/p>\n
Escoge un material f\u00e1cil de manipular: plastilina, arcilla o miga de pan. Prueba diferentes formas de trabajarlo: apri\u00e9talo, estr\u00fajalo, al\u00e1rgalo… Utiliza una cuchara, puntas de l\u00e1pices, las u\u00f1as, todo lo que se te ocurra para modelarlo. F\u00edjate en c\u00f3mo la figura va ganando expresi\u00f3n.\u00a0\/p>\n
Y si no tienes arcilla en casa, te decimos c\u00f3mo fabricarla: Mezclas 100 g de sal y 50 g de harina. A\u00f1ade agua poco a poco. Si se te enganchan los dedos, a\u00f1ade un poquito m\u00e1s de harina. En unos 3 d\u00edas est\u00e1 seco \u00a1y preparado para pintar!\/p>\n

Auguste Rodin\/strong> (1840-1917). Es llamado \u00abel padre de la escultura moderna\u00bb. No pudo estudiar en la Academia de Bellas Artes, el lugar donde se formaban los artistas, porque lo rechazaron en varias ocasiones. Sin embargo, Rodin revolucion\u00f3 la escultura con sus originales obras; por eso es uno de los artistas m\u00e1s famosos del mundo.\/em>\/p>\n
Alberto Giacometti\/strong> (1901-1966). Su padre era pintor, por lo que, desde ni\u00f1o, Giacometti estuvo en contacto con el arte en su propia casa. As\u00ed conoci\u00f3 la obra de Rodin, a quien admir\u00f3 durante toda su vida. Con el tiempo, Giacometti se hizo muy famoso y sus esculturas son inconfundibles.\/em>\/p>\n
