En Fundaci\u00f3n MAPFRE organizamos actividades deportivas por toda Espa\u00f1a\/strong> en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Fundaci\u00f3n Special Olympics Espa\u00f1a\/strong> para personas con discapacidad intelectual.\/p>\n

Special Olympics Espa\u00f1a\/strong> es una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro que naci\u00f3 en 1991 como plataforma de promoci\u00f3n y\/strong> fomento del deporte\/strong> para personas con discapacidad intelectual\/strong> con el objetivo de mejorar su calidad de vida. Actualmente integran esta asociaci\u00f3n cerca de 16.000 deportistas y 4.500 entrenadores y voluntarios que participan en 16 modalidades deportivas.\/p>\n

Los eventos deportivos\/strong> que organizamos est\u00e1n pensados para la realizaci\u00f3n de actividades f\u00edsico-deportivas\/strong> espec\u00edficas para aquellas personas con mayores dificultades motrices e intelectuales\/strong>. Las actividades\/strong> se dise\u00f1an conforme\/strong> a los principios inspiradores\/strong> del movimiento Special Olympics International\/strong>; ayudar a todas las personas con discapacidad intelectual reconocida en su completa integraci\u00f3n con la sociedad, en condiciones de igualdad con el resto de ciudadanos, de forma que sean aceptados, respetados y disfruten de las mismas oportunidades para su desarrollo personal, f\u00edsico e intelectual.\/p>\n
