Together with Fundación Real Madrid, we promote the development of children in Peru
Soccer and basketball to integrate children and adolescents from 5 to 16 years of age
Current Project
The Escuela Socio Deportiva (Social and Sports School) organizes soccer and basketball sessions for children and adolescents aged 5 to 16. It also encourages other activities that complement the training sessions, such as sports championships and friendly tournaments. The project also aims to prevent school dropouts and encourage children to continue learning. Parents are also supported and involved in actions related to health and healthy eating, as well as the promotion of sport as a space that generates positive changes in their children, and in the development of sporting events that improve the physical and emotional health of both the children and their families.
This project works with young people in situations of extreme vulnerability, such as children and adolescents from families at social risk, to facilitate access to socio-educational services aimed at achieving the complete development of the students. Additionally, as part of the School’s methodology, the participants are trained to be critical spectators so that they learn to discriminate situations of violence, rejecting these and encouraging altruistic and cooperative behavior.
