Instituto Vis Foundation Brazil reduces social inequalities through education
Personalized education for 440 children
Completed Project
The “Educación para los niños del Colegio Mano Amiga” project of Instituto Vis Foundation Brazil aims to reduce social inequalities through education. It offers personalized, excellence-based education to 440 children and young people from the Serra de Itapeceira region, an extremely isolated area with little access to basic services in the metropolitan area of São Paulo.
The goal of this project, which is supported by Fundación MAPFRE, is to enable these children to break out of the cycle of poverty in which they find themselves and gain access to a better future. Courses are held both in the mornings and afternoons, and the school provides lunch and tutoring services to all those who have to stay at the center for the whole day.
For more than six years, the Instituto Vis Foundation Brazil has been providing the region’s students with an academic education and strengthening their role as citizens.
