The exhibition held at the KBr Fundación MAPFRE Photography Center, in Barcelona: Jules Ainaud’s Catalonia (1871-1872) was accompanied by this catalog which reproduces a large part of the photographic images that Jules Ainaud took in Catalonia between August 1871 and July 1872 commissioned by the J. Laurent house in Madrid. The fact that Ainaud worked for the firm of J. Laurent relegated his name to anonymity.
