Why do we process your personal data?
Fundación MAPFRE will process all personal data provided voluntarily by the interested parties, as well as that obtained during the course of the Fundación MAPFRE event, whether collected through videos, photographs, forms or any other means, for the following purposes:
- The organization of the event.
- The promotion, dissemination and publication of the event through the recording and retransmission, live or rebroadcast, of images of attendees and/or the publication in newspapers, corporate magazines, internal and/or external media, websites, Fundación MAPFRE events and presentations and social media, which collaborate with Fundación MAPFRE on activities related to the event.
All data provided, as well as the processing and purposes stated above, are necessary or related to the proper maintenance, development and control of the event management.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
The personal data provided is kept for a period determined by the following criteria: (i) legal retention period; (ii) duration of the event and any responsibilities arising from said event; and (iii) a request for the removal of the data from the data subject, where appropriate.
What are the legal grounds for processing your data?
The legal basis for processing your data for the purposes included in the section “Why do we process your personal data?” is the consent of the user or the parent or guardian of a minor.
Which recipients will your data be transferred to?
Fundación MAPFRE may only transfer your data to governmental authorities, regulators or bodies in the circumstances required by Law, local regulations, or compliance with regulatory obligations.
Within the framework of these communications, international data transfers may be made to third countries. These data transfers will only be made to countries where there is no European Commission adequacy decision when it is essential in order to comply with the stipulated purpose.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
Under the terms and within the scope established in current legislation, any person has the right to:
- Confirm whether Fundación MAPFRE is processing the personal data that concerns them or not, to have access to it and to the information regarding its processing.
- Request that any inaccurate data is corrected.
- Request that the data is removed when, among other reasons, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in which case Fundación MAPFRE will stop processing the data except in the exercise or defense of possible claims.
- Request that the processing of their data should be limited, in which case it can only be processed with the person’s consent, except for its conservation and use in the exercise or defense of possible claims or with a view to protecting the rights of another individual or legal entity or for reasons of public interest important to the European Union or to a specific member State.
- Object to their data being processed, in which case Fundación MAPFRE will stop processing the data, except in the defense of possible claims.
- Receive in a structured format, in common use and machine readable, the personal data that concerns them that has been provided to the Entities, or request the Entities that they transfer the data directly to someone else’s responsibility wherever technically possible.
- Withdraw the consent granted, when applicable, for the purpose detailed in the section “Why do we process your personal data?” without this affecting the legality of the treatment based on the consent given prior to its withdrawal.
The abovementioned rights to access, rectification, erasure, limitation, opposition and portability can be exercised directly by the data owner or their legal or voluntary representative by writing to the Corporate Data Protection and Privacy Office at Carretera de Pozuelo, 52, 28222 Majadahonda, Madrid, or by sending an email to ocppd@mapfre.com.
If interested parties feel they have not received a satisfactory response to the exercise of their rights, they may submit a claim to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at https://www.aepd.es, the website set up for this purpose by the relevant Supervisory Authority.
The interested party shall notify Fundación MAPFRE, without undue delay, and in any event no later than 24 hours after becoming aware of the event, and through the email addresses disma.incidentesdeseguridad@mapfre.com and DPO@fundacionmapfre.org of any security breach that affects or could affect the information or personal data processed on behalf of Fundación MAPFRE, together with all relevant documentation and information relating to the incident. If the interested party is unaware of the channels or procedures indicated, they are required to contact the person responsible for the contract in order to report the security breach.
