Throughout 2017, Fundación MAPFRE continued its solidarity role in Portugal with its Volunteer program, which carried out 35 activities aimed at both psychosocial and educational support as well as the improvement of road safety for the elderly. Thanks to it, 565 people benefited directly and more than 1,450, indirectly.

Several informative, educational and awareness-raising programs were also carried out with positive results for more than 1,300 people. In Lisbon, a Children’s Safety Day in the Car was held.
