Fundación MAPFRE is committed to the rural environment as a space for opportunities and is organizing this meeting in which representatives of public authorities, the private sector, rural Extremadura and its most vulnerable inhabitants will provide the keys to promoting the development of innovative solutions adapted to the environment based on two fundamental factors:
- Talent retention and attraction and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
- Living in the Community. Independent living and support plans.

- 10:30 am – Welcome Mr. Javier Olías Mena, Fundación MAPFRE representative in Extremadura / Ms. Lola Moya, Director of Social Funds at Fundación MAPFRE.
- 10:40 am – Institutional Opening. Ms. María Guardiola, president of the Government of Extremadura.
- 10:50 am – Institutional Opening. Ms. Elena de Borbón, Director of Social Projects at Fundación MAPFRE.
- 10:55 am – Round table on improving access to health and social services and long-term care.

- The private sector perspective. – Mr. Angel Barrera Nieto, Manager of Adiper.
- The third sector perspective. – Mr. Manuel Maeso Pizarro, Manager of CERUJOVI.
Moderator: Mr. Manuel Tortajada, economic and financial journalist (Antena 3 and Radio Intereconomía).
- 11:50 am – Round table on social and workplace inclusion in rural areas. New sources and opportunities.
Focus: Retaining talent and fostering entrepreneurship.

- The private sector perspective. – Mr. Antonio Fernandez Portillo, Director of the Extremadura GEM network.
- The third sector perspective. – Mr. Álvaro Retortillo, Managing Director of Fundación Santa María la Real.
- The perspective of representatives from the rural sphere. – Ms. Carmen Pagador López, Mayor of Fuente de Cantos.
