Avoid being careless at the wheel
Taking certain medicines should be absolutely incompatible with driving a vehicle. Others, however, in the case of certain diseases, should always be kept close at hand in the glove compartment. Some ten percent of traffic accidents are due to the effects of medication on driving. Think about it: when was the last time you read the prospectus of your medication? Did you know that even seemingly harmless medication can cause unwanted effects behind the wheel? The increase in drug use deserves a special chapter: almost 50 percent of people who died in a traffic accident in 2019 had used drugs, alcohol or psychotropic substances. Get informed!
