Road Safety
On June 3, 2025, we invite you to participate in a one-day meeting where we will address a crucial issue for road safety: how to reduce serious injuries.
During the meeting, the ETSC will present its most recent report, “Reducing Serious Injuries on European Roads,” which includes the latest data on serious injuries in Europe. There will also be contributions from Spanish speakers who will analyze serious injuries, including the head of the Emergency Trauma Unit at the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, the director of the General Insurance Department at UNESPA, and the director of the Asociación para el Estudio de la Lesión Medular Espinal (Association for the Study of Spinal Cord Injury), an organization that helps those suffering from the long-term consequences of serious traffic injuries.
We will also be joined by two speakers from Northern Europe who will talk about how Sweden has improved data collection on serious injuries and how Norway has reduced the number of children seriously injured in traffic accidents.
The event will have simultaneous English-Spanish and Spanish-English translation.
