An opportunity for 26 promising projects

​For there to be an ecosystem of social innovation there must be different factors, including a conscious and active society, teams with the capacity to take advantage of research and technology as tools for transformation or social networks in which to share knowledge and disseminate it. Above all, there must be committed social entrepreneurs who contribute innovative ideas and have the opportunity to take them forward. They are the key element of our Fundación MAPFRE Awards for Social Innovation. Here are the 26 projects selected to compete in the semi-finals.

This contest, already in its third edition, wants to be the opportunity, the differentiating engine that allows these projects to evolve from the being an idea to being implemented, allowing them to reach the dimension they deserve and enabling their visibility at international level.

Due to the overall situation, the semi-finals are postponed until further notice. From this moment on, and until we can celebrate them, we will promote the participation of our semi-finalists in Red Innova, our community of social innovators they are already part of. We will work to promote their projects even more: because we are sure of one thing, now more than ever we need to continue promoting and supporting projects like theirs.
