Insurance and Social Protection
On 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December, professionals and experts from the third sector and from society will meet at the Demos Forum, an initiative of the AEF, Spanish Association of Foundations, to exchange opinions on the issues that most affect our environment and provide proposals to alleviate the urgent needs of our citizens.
As part of our commitment to promote the role of the foundational sector as an agent of transformation, we will be present on Wednesday 2nd December, from 13:00h to 14:30h with a talk entitled Ageingnomics. The economics of aging.
Technological advances offer a unique window of opportunity to convert longevity into employment and economic activity in sectors such as health and tourism, finance, urban planning, education and housing. This has led to the emergence of a new stage in life between the ages of fifty and seventy, people in good health and well prepared who can continue working, saving, creating and consuming. In this new scenario new industries will be born to serve them and new entrepreneurs will find opportunities where no one had thought before. This talk takes a positive look at the demographic change on the basis of economic and social opportunities brought about by the aging population.
