Elvira Vega, new General Manager of Fundación MAPFRE

On March 10, Elvira Vega García will take office as the General Manager of Fundación MAPFRE, replacing Julio Domingo Souto, who, after 35 years linked to the MAPFRE group, is retiring from his executive post.

For 9 years Julio Domingo has been at the head of our organization during which time he has spearheaded a period of enormous transformation and great progress in the internationalization of its activities, while always maintaining the strong social focus that characterizes Fundación MAPFRE.

Elvira Vega has a degree in English Philology, a Master’s in Business Management and a Master’s in Human Resources.  During her extensive career in the MAPFRE group, spanning more than 28 years, she has held various positions of responsibility. Since 2023, she has been the Director of Human Resources for Corporate Areas and International Coordination, with the rank of Deputy General Manager, a position she currently holds.
