Winners of the Fundación MAPFRE Social Innovation Awards
A commitment to generating a positive impact on our society
The social challenges of our society demand a new perspective. With this in mind, social innovators combine their talent and creativity with the possibilities offered by technology to address real challenges and provide solutions to the most urgent problems.
Fundación MAPFRE, well aware of the transformative power of these proposals, decided in 2018 to launch the Fundación MAPFRE Social Innovation Awards as a clear commitment to this new way of moving forward with the common good in mind. As a result, each year the winning projects receive a differentiating boost that multiplies their scope and all the finalists become part of Red Innova, our knowledge-sharing ecosystem of social innovators.
At the Grand Final of the seventh edition of these awards, the twelve finalists presented their projects, demonstrating their ability to carry them forward and their scalability. From these, three were chosen as winners, one in each of the competition’s categories, receiving 40,000 euros to promote their initiatives.
We present the winning projects from the seventh edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Social Innovation Awards; three proposals that positively impact our society, improve people’s quality of life and enhance sustainability.
