Seventh edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Social Innovation Awards
We reaffirm our commitment to improve the world
The seventh edition of our Fundación MAPFRE Awards for Social Innovation brought together a large number of social innovators from Brazil, the rest of Latin America, Europe, and the United States of America, who shared with us their initiatives that offer solutions to real problems in our society.
In this edition, innovative projects with great potential for social impact were promoted in the following categories:
- Safe and sustainable mobility.
- Silver Economy: opportunities for senior population.
- Health improvement and digital technology (e-Health).
Of all the projects submitted, twelve finalists were selected (3 finalists per category and region) who received coaching sessions from IE University in preparation for the grand final.
The three winning projects (one per category) received €40,000 in cash to boost their project and the opportunity to participate in a free consulting process provided by Fundación EY (FEY), a collaborating entity of Fundación MAPFRE.
Additionally, the twelve finalists are now part of Red Innova, a community that brings together the leading figures from all editions of our awards to exchange knowledge and receive expert support.
The seventh edition of these awards concluded with the selection of the three winning projects, those that stood out in each category for their ability to positively impact society and their scalability. Would you like to know them?
Twelve finalist projects were selected to present to the Grand Final jury, demonstrating the great social impact of their projects and their ability to implement them. Here they are.
