Three transformative winning projects and lots of initiatives to improve the quality of life of people living in our world today is the clear message we took away from the second edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Awards for Social Innovation, which has now drawn to a close.
The second edition of the Awards have confirmed for us that social innovation is an essential tool for transforming the world. The overwhelming popularity of the call for applications within the world of social entrepreneurship and the high quality of the projects that took part in the competition has confirmed for us that our support for social innovation has great promise. Technology at the service of talent and social commitment were all on display in the 26 semi-finalist projects. The members of the judging panel were given the difficult task of choosing the best projects. Only 3 went on to become the winners. One in each category.

Out of over 230 projects submitted for this second edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Awards for Social Innovation, the 26 projects with the greatest capacity for improving society in each of the categories were selected to compete in the semi-finals. We want to introduce you to them.
