Grand Final of the 4th Edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Social Innovation Awards
The three winning projects are as follows
The celebration of the Grand Final culminates a wonderful journey in which we have been accompanied by 27 social innovators and in which the transformative role of their projects has become clear. A trip that each year takes on greater dimension, having received in this fourth edition more than 300 initiatives, 28% more than in the previous year’s call.
Social Innovation is the clear proof that with brilliant ideas, innovative technology and commitment it is possible to improve the lives of many people, applying talent to solve practical problems, using all the means offered by technological progress and having the will to solve real problems.
The 27 projects are worthy of an award, and we consider it so by offering visibility throughout the process and a mentoring program to semifinalists and coaching to finalists by IE University, academic partner of the awards, in order to enhance their initiatives. But the competition rules give the jury the difficult task of choosing the three final winners, one for each category: Health improvement and digital technology (e-Health); Economics of aging (ageingnomics); and Prevention and safe and sustainable mobility. Each of them as winners will receive a cash prize of 30,000 € and, in this call, we also have the collaboration of EY that will offer, through its Foundation, free pro-bono consulting to each project manager, which will help them to grow and become more efficient.
We present the winning projects from the fourth edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Social Innovation Awards.

This edition has come to an end, but the universe generated around it lives on in the Innova Network. The participants of this edition become members of this network in which they will live together with the participants of the three previous editions with whom they will share experiences and knowledge so that their projects continue to grow. Fundación MAPFRE will provide you with support, guidance and assistance services to publicize and develop your proposals in the most effective way.
